Gratitude

In December 2015, after a significant life change that found me questioning what the next stage in my life was, I decided to write a blog. To be honest, I’m not quite sure what struck this sudden need in me to express myself through an online website, but never the less, I trekked in to the world of blogging, a novice completely unaware of how a blog was supposed to be run. After all, it felt as if blogging had expectations. Weren’t there guidelines to follow? A certain format? I made my first post expecting little, but vowed to myself that I would follow a schedule, so that I would not abandon it several days or weeks later.

Friends, I am truly overwhelmed by the response the blog has received. When I began, I never realized how greatly the blog would take over my life, in such a good way. I have been able to express myself and in doing so, I have been able to reach and impact others. The response has been overwhelming, and I want to use this post to focus on that.

Friends, when I write these posts, while they are cathartic and so helpful, it can also feel like I am writing at you. So for this post, my readers, I want to write to you.

Thank you.

Thank you for allowing me to express myself, without judgment, without criticism.

Thank you for providing me with honest, heart felt feedback, so that I can continue to improve.

Thank you for allowing me to share my words with you, and live my story on your computer screens.

Thank you for believing in me, and reading. And continuing to read. Thank you for coming back.

Thank you friends, and readers. I am so honored that I have been able to come to this point with my blog. I truly, from the bottom of my heart, appreciate all of you.

I truly believe that there are great things in store for this blog. And I thank you, for letting it continue to grow. thankful
